Lavina “Wootsey” Brim September 1, 1911 * March 4, 2012 Lavina “Wootsey” Brim, age 101 of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness. The Horseshoe, FL native lived most of her life in Live Oak. She was a homemaker and had a passion for sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of the Clayland Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband W.O. "Oscar" Brim. She is survived by two daughters, Velda Lavone (Marcus) Durham, Live Oak, FL; Laveta (Wesley) Davis, Citrus Springs, FL; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in the Clayland Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Leggett and Rev. Bill Lawhon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A special thanks to Frankie Linton with Hospice of Gainesville.
