Lee Roy Mcmullen

Lee Roy McMullen, 85 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Suwannee Healthcare Center in Live Oak, FL following a lengthy illness. The native and life long resident of Live Oak, FL. was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He was a retired welder and his passion was outdoor activities, which included hunting & fishing. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lois McMullen, Live Oak, FL; one son, Roy L. (Judy) McMullen, Wellborn, FL; one daughter, Lynda G. (John) Mullinax, Ocala, FL; one brother, Roger McMullen, Wellborn, FL; two sisters, Mary Kathrine (Kenneth) Partdrige, Perry, FL; Virginia Severance, Wellborn, FL; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 25th at 3:00 pm in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. David Teems officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building fund, 14364 140th St., Live Oak, FL 32060.
