Leonard Roy Young

Leonard Roy Young, age 91, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL.  He was a native of St. Cloud, Florida and moved Live Oak, Florida in 1997.  He was a form designer for a septic company, shop manager and heavy equipment mechanic, and a certified gunsmith. Leonard was a member of the Elks Lodge in Kissimmee, Florida also a hunting club, he loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a loyal member of the Wellborn Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, of 50 years Linda Young, Live Oak, Florida; five sons, Milo Young (Wendy), North Carolina, David Young (Pauline), Florida, Bradley Butner (Olivia), North Carolina, Robert “Buddy” Mann, Florida and William Mann, Florida; three daughters, Susan Meadows (Jim), North Carolina, Debra Uri (David), Florida and Becky Albers, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
