Lillian Mary Slater

Lillian Mary Slater March 17, 1924 January 21, 2010 Lillian Mary Slater, age 85, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at her home in Live Oak following a lengthy illness. The Union City, NJ native moved to Live Oak, FL in 1999 from St. Petersburg, FL. Lillian owned and operated Lil’s Grill for five years in St. Pete. She was a member of the local bowling league, the American Legion Post #107 Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Rocky Sink Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Ron Slater of Live Oak, FL; one son, Mike Slater, St. Petersburg, FL; one grandson, Michael Slater, II and one great grandson, Haden Slater, both of Live Oak. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services Monday, Jan. 25th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Monday, January 25, 2010 in the Rocky Sink Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
