Loriene “Cindy” Hingson, age 86, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Friday morning, September 7, 2018 at Suwannee Health Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak where she and her late husband, James Thomas Hingson, Sr. took great pride in raising their five wonderful sons. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church of Live Oak. Cindy loved working in her beautiful yard and vegetable garden, she also loved fishing in her catfish pond. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Thomas Hingson, Sr., a son, Greg Hingson, two sisters, Novel Morgan and Norma Powers.
She is survived by four sons, J.T. (Lana) Hingson, Live Oak; Jeff Hingson, Live Oak; Shawn (Carol) Hingson, Live Oak and Darrell Hingson, Corona, CA; two sisters, her twin, Cloriene "Jo" Baker, Valdosta, GA and Linda Bailey, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2018 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joshua Wynn officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to her services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Westwood Baptist Church of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
