Lucille Phipps
May 22, 1938 — July 23, 2021
Lucille Phipps, age 83, of Live Oak, FL, went home to be with her first love, my daddy, Friday morning, July 23, 2021 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. She passed away in her sleep, peacefully and with no pain. She was born on May 22, 1938 in Ohio and moved to Florida in 1980. She had worked at factories and many places thru out her adult life, but enjoyed the Greyhound spectra the most with her husband. At one time, the whole family was involved with greyhounds.
She had severe osteoporosis and was paralyzed from a stroke and had been bed ridden for several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne F. Phipps.
She is survived by her four children, Tina, Kenny, Fred and Sonya. Eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
