Luther Byron Jerrells

Luther “Byron” Jerrells, age 83, of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia. He was a lifelong resident of Live Oak, Florida. He worked for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches for 41 years in the Maintenance Department and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church of Live Oak. He loved many outdoor activities but hunting and fishing were his most favorite.
He is survived by his daughter Beverly Williams (Dwayne), Ray City, Georgia, two grandchildren, Richard Tyler Putnel and Morgan Kelli Putnel and three greatgrandchildren, Sophia Marie, Ava Rose and Karter Byron.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2:00pm in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamilton County.
