Mark Sanderson

Mark Sanderson, age 62, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Sunday September 26, 2010 in Shands @ UF in Gainesville, FL. The Minneapolis, MN native moved to Live Oak FL in 1986 from Ft. Pierce, FL. Mark was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served four years with an honorable discharge. He worked for the Suwannee Recreational Department before retiring in 1999. Mark was known for his love of motor cycles and vintage cars. He also built a hot rod and a Jeep that were his pride and joy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Dorothy Sanderson and a sister, Michele O’Neil.
Survivors include his fiancée, Elizabeth Skipper, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Blythe Guedes, Cave Creek, AZ; two nephews, Jeff Guedes and Shawn O’Neil; three nieces, Vikie Guedes Anderson, Jamie O’Neil and Marnie O’Neil, many other family members and friends.
Memorial services were held Friday, October 15, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 Hwy 90 W., Lake City, FL 32055.
As per his wishes, finalization was by cremation.
