Martha "Martie" Williams

Martha "Martie" Gail Crawford-Williams, a beloved daughter and sister, age 66, of McAlpin, FL, passed away unexpectedly at her mother's home, Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  Martie attended and graduated from Suwannee High School in Live Oak, FL in 1976 and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Jasper Hardware Store in Jasper, FL.

She spent her last year's caring for her elderly mother.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  A caring, compassionate person, Martie was quick to lend an ear to others' problems and offer words of wisdom.  She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, tender heart, beautiful blue eyes, infectious laugh, and a smile that lit up her face.

She was preceded in death by her father, William "Willie" Jesse Crawford and brother, Larry W. Crawford.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn C. Smith, and four siblings, Beth (Greg) Crawford-Williams, Danny (Janet) Crawford, Gerry (Linda) Crawford and Brenda (John) Stewart, including numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Graveside services were held, 12:30 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in the Pinemount Baptist Church Cemetery, 17031, US Highway 129 South, McAlpin, FL with Rev. Charlie Sexton officiating.
