Mary Ella Greene
March 1, 1927 — June 28, 2023
Mary Ella Fennell Greene, age 96, of McAlpin, FL passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a native and life-long resident of Suwannee County where she worked with HRS for the State of Florida for many years. She was a member of the McAlpin Advent Christian Church and the Live Oak Women’s Club. Mrs. Mary loved gardening and working in her beautiful yard, gardening and baking. She taught the first cake decorating class at the Vo-Tech school.
She is survived by one son, Woody Greene, McAlpin, FL; two daughters, Nannette (Tony) Estepp, Gainesville, FL; Jane (Mike) Lee, Steinhatchee, FL; one brother, Carlton (Susan) Fennell, Jasper, FL; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Wong officiating. Interment followed in the McAlpin Advent Christian Church Cemetery.
