Melba Scott

Melba Lawan Scott, age 79, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at her home. She was a native of Orlando, FL moving to Live Oak in 1988. Melba worked as a certified nursing assistant in nursing homes before she retired and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, puzzles, gardening and watching nature shows on television.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherryl (Joe) Scott and Sandra (John) Scott all of Live Oak; one sister, Frances (Terry) Swank, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held, 4:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2019 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Mr. Ollie Bratcher officiating.
Visitation was held from 2:00 to 3:45 PM Friday before the services at the funeral home.
