Mike Bonds

Mike Bonds, age 60, of McAlpin, FL passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Shands Live Oak following a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Live Oak. Mike was a sergeant for Mayo Correctional Institute. He loved to fish and most importantly loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the NRA and Friendship Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Myrtice Bonds. He is survived by two sons, Shawn (Tammy) Bonds, McAlpin, FL; Chris (Cassandra) Bonds, Wellborn, FL; one brother, Marty (Susan) Bonds, Palatka, FL; one sister, Sharon (Leon) Harris, Starke, FL; four grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, January 24th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Berry officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
