Mildred J. Carter

Mildred J. Carter, 98 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Lafayette Health Care Center in Mayo, FL. The Garfield Township, Iowa native moved to Live Oak in 2007 from Hollywood, FL. She was a retired waitress and in her spare time enjoyed making lap robes for the Veterans at the V.A. Hospitals and loved to crochet. Survivors include three sons, John (Pati) Carter, O’Brien, FL; John Pollack, and Tom Pollack both of Rochester, Minnesota; one brother, Howard Jensen, Tucson, AZ; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Finalization was by cremation.
