Mildred McElveen Craft, age 86, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center – Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following complications from a stroke. She was a native and life long resident of Live Oak, FL. Mildred was a Bookkeeper for Western Auto for over thirty years, she enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved her family and her church unconditionally. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John Henry McElveen and her second husband Burnis Lee Craft.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Ray McElveen, Ocala, FL; Pat McElveen, Loudon, TN; two daughters, Marilyn Schallern, Gainesville, FL, Annette Griffin, Live Oak, FL; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Nov.12th at Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Deas officiating. Internment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
