Miriam Mercer October 21, 1933*November 6, 2010 Miriam Mercer, age 77, of Live Oak, Florida passed away early Saturday morning November 6, 2010 at Shands Live Oak. The native and life-long resident of Live Oak, FL worked for many years for the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch in the Estates and Trusts Division. Miriam will be remembered for her love of cooking and the passion she had for fishing. Survivors include her cousins, Louise Singletary, Live Oak, FL; Lucille Alderman, Lake City, FL; Patti Skinner, Jasper, FL and many other cousins. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 8, 2010 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services. Interment followed in the Live Oak cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Florida Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 2000, Live Oak, FL 32064.
