Murrell Palmer

Murrell Palmer January 19, 1923*March 4, 2011 Murrell Palmer, age 88, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Alachua, FL. The Day, FL native lived most of her life in Live Oak, FL, moving to live with her daughter in Alachua four years ago. Murrell worked for Renee Fashions for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church and also sang with the Senior Saints Choir. Survivors include her daughter, Gail and J.B. Hurst of Alachua, FL; Three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services at 2:00 PM with the services at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Westwood Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Live Oak cemetery.
