Myrna Ward Mills

Myrna Ward Mills, age 79, of Live Oak, FL, passed away early Thursday morning, January 11, 2018 at the Lake City Medical Center. Myrna was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak and member of the Tiger Lake Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She always enjoyed doing for others and sharing her delicious famous carrot cake with her family and friends. She loved cooking, reading, sewing, puzzles and cross stitching. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill & Thelma Ward, her son, Kenny Mills, a sister, Dorothy Denson.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Mills, Live Oak; one daughter, Kim (Mike) Pepper, Live Oak; a daughter-in-love, Lisa Mills, Live Oak; two brothers, Bud (Bon) Ward, Live Oak; Ronald (Patsy) Ward, Live Oak; three sisters, Pat (Jimmy) Jones, Diane (Bill) Barrett all of Live Oak and Regina Williams of Lake City; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Tiger Lake Baptist Church with Brother Melvin Owen and Pastor Robert Bass officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the church.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tiger Lake Baptist Church c/o Lisa Mills, 13037 97th Rd., Live Oak, FL 32060 or the charity of your choice.
