Nancy Ann LeDew, age 56, died at UF Health Jacksonville, on
Sunday, December 13, 2015. Nancy was an ailurophile, who
wanted to be a Hollywood star, despite her longtime penance in
Live Oak, Florida.
Born in Monterey, California on May 6, 1959, to Nancy Waldron
LeDew and Captain Thomas Albert LeDew. She was a graduate of the
University of Florida. Nancy had a very big heart, which was
preempted with an arrhythmia, and a strong wit, that was laden
with guilt. Nancy will be especially remembered as a beautiful
woman, a great cook, a free spirit, and a loving mother.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Ann Wainwright,
Jacksonville, Florida; her son, David Thomas Forrest, Fort White,
Florida; her three brothers, Thomas Albert LeDew, II, Pace,
Florida; John Waldron LeDew, Live Oak, Florida; and Christopher
Wheat LeDew, Jacksonville, Florida, her longtime companion,
David Braun, Lake City, Florida; and her beloved cats, Rebby,
Angel, Freckles, Hip Hop, Inky, Sugar, and Pink Nose.
Memorial services celebrating Nancy was held on Saturday,
December 19, 2015, at 4:00 pm, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel.
