Nellie Lucille Turner March 9, 1910 August 10, 2009 Nellie Lucille Turner age 99, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Monday, August 10, 2009, at Surry Place Care Center in Live Oak, FL following a lengthy illness. The Sterling, IL native had resided in Sebastian, FL for thirty-five years before moving to Live Oak in 2007. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Delos Turner. Survivors include three daughters, LaVonne Brandon, New Lennox, ILL; Linda Shapiro, Live Oak, FL; Sally Erskine, Sebastian, FL; twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:30 PM. Funeral services were held 2:30 PM Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in the Strunk Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, FL.
