Norma Jean Murphy
February 16, 1933 — June 25, 2022
Norma Jean Murphy, age 89, of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Surrey Place Care Center in Live Oak, FL. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak and member of the First Baptist Church. She worked as a department store sales clerk in Live Oak for many years and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at Shands Live Oak.
She is survived by two brother, Robert (Pat) Murphy, Live Oak, FL and Edward (Judy) Murphy, Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Wilma Merritt, Merritt Island, FL and Edna Laffoon, Live Oak, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
