Odell Jowers Merritt, age 91, of Live Oak, FL passed away, Sunday morning, February 2, 2025, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak, FL and housekeeper. She loved working in her yard, feeding her dog and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Caruthers, Live Oak, FL; one son, Charles Crace, Live Oak, FL; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2025, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott Meneely officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
