Pastor John Frank Tuvell

Pastor John Frank Tuvell November 11,1930 * January 25,2012 Pastor John Frank Tuvell, age 81 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Wednesday evening January 25, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Quincy, Ohio moving to Live Oak in 1984 from Tampa, FL. John worked for many years as an electrician who last pastored at the Moores Chapel 2nd Advent Christian Church in Climax, GA. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the First Advent Christian Church. Survivors include by his wife, Emily Tuvell, Live Oak, FL; four sons, Keith (Julia) Tuvell, Ocean Springs, MS; Kevin (Sheri) Tuvell, Brandon, FL; Kent (Andrea) Tuvell, Ocean Springs, MS; Kris (Kimberly) Tuvell, Live Oak, FL; three sisters, Marie (Flaco) Sherman; Ruth Patterson, Joan Bovee all of Tampa, FL and Grace Pittman of Tucumcari, NM; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation was held, Friday, Jan. 27th, from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the First Advent Christian Church with Rev. Tim Carver officiating. Internment was held in the Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
