Pat Sura

Pat Sura, age 81, of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at his home in Live Oak.  He was born in Pottsville, PA moving to Live Oak, FL in 1976. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam from 1964 to 1967 and then joining the Florida National Guard. Pat worked as a building official for Suwannee County for many years and was a member of the Live Oak Elks Lodge #1165.  He was a handyman who could fix anything.  He loved fishing, reminiscing, gardening and telling old war stories.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Sura, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Kelly Anne Sura, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Mildred Foyle, Schuylkill Haven, PA and one grandson, Tristan Ayden Cantella.

Funeral services will be held, 11:00 AM, Friday, August 18, 2023, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00AM at the funeral home.
