In the late hours of November 12, we lost our beautiful mother, Patricia Ann (Garringer) Nobles.
To Her, God sent a summons.
Saying, come, your work here is ended:
All earthly pain shall cease,
I have built you a dwelling,
Come, therein find rest and peace.
Patricia, (Patty) was born July 4th, 1934, in Perry Township, Fayette County, Ohio to parents, Robert Eldon Garringer and Mina Pauline (Martin) Garringer. She was the youngest of 9 children; brothers Robert Martin, Paul Eldon, Ben Milton, James Oliver, and Cecil Eugene Garringer; and sisters Betty May (Bullen), Eris Pauline (Puckett), and Doris Jean (Gregory).
While living in Homosassa Springs, Florida with her parents, she met and fell in love with our father, Walter Augustus Nobles of Falmouth, Suwannee County, Florida. They were married February 3rd, 1952, in Inverness at the First Methodist Church of Inverness and settled in Falmouth, where they raised eleven children (with another passing in infancy).
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, our father, two daughters, Cynthia Ann Nobles, Pamela Diane Moyer, our infant brother, Colin Bryan Nobles, one grandson, Jason King, and three great-great grandsons.
She is survived by her children, Walter Augustus (Chip) Nobles Jr. (Sandy), David Wayne Nobles (Mary Kaye), Debra Sue Bishop (Terry), Alice Penelope (Penny) Gambel (Scott), William Franklin (Frank) Nobles (Pam), Robert Garringer (Garry) Nobles, Pattie Michelle Taillon (Gil), Amy Lynn King (Floyd), and Edward Martin (Mickey) Nobles (Jody), 33 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services were held, Friday, November 17, 2023, in Live Oak Cemetery, Veterans plots, offered by the Reverend Wilbur Woods.
