Phyllis Jean Clifton

Phyllis "Jean" Clifton, age 89, of O'Brien, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center / Haven Hospice, in Lake City, Florida following a lengthy illness.  She was born in West Virginia, moving to O'Brien in 1991 from Everglades City, Florida.  She worked as a cook for many years and loved watching soap operas.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Buster Clifton, Jr. and a great grandson, Colton Brown.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Robin Mitchell, O'Brien, FL; one grandchild and five great grandchildren.

As per her wishes finalization will be by cremation.
