Quinton Bell, age 85, of Live Oak, FL passed away early Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014 at Shands Live Oak following a lengthy illness. He was born in Madison, FL living most of his life in Live Oak. He was a self employed real estate agent and served in the Florida National Guard for over twenty years. Quinton was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for the Junior Boys and later the Senior Men’s Class. He coached Little League Baseball for fifteen years and was a member of the Live Oak Lion’s Club.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bell, Live Oak; two sons, Quinn (Terri) Bell, Live Oak; Tim (Joanne) Bell, Wellborn; one daughter, Karen (Walter) Hurst, Live Oak; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held, 2:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Rodriguez officiating. Internment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
