Quinton Bell

Quinton Bell, age 85, of Live Oak, FL passed away early Wednesday morning, March 5, 2014 at Shands Live Oak following a lengthy illness. He was born in Madison, FL living most of his life in Live Oak. He was a self employed real estate agent and served in the Florida National Guard for over twenty years. Quinton was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for the Junior Boys and later the Senior Men’s Class. He coached Little League Baseball for fifteen years and was a member of the Live Oak Lion’s Club. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bell, Live Oak; two sons, Quinn (Terri) Bell, Live Oak; Tim (Joanne) Bell, Wellborn; one daughter, Karen (Walter) Hurst, Live Oak; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held, 2:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Rodriguez officiating. Internment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Westwood Building Fund, 920 11th Street, Live Oak, FL 32064.
