Reginald “Bo” Sperring, age 95, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak where he owned and operated Sperring Service Station in downtown Live Oak for many years. He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church and loved working in his yard, fishing and fish fries with his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Sperring and a grandson, Joshua Sperring.
He is survived by one son, Keith Sperring, Gainesville, FL; one daughter, Karen Castro, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Betty Chester, Dowling Park, FL; four grandchildren, Jordan (Katie) Sperring, Austin (Orly) Sperring, Reed (Chole) Castro and Evie (Leo) Torres; eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services for both, Bo and his loving wife Shirley, who passed away last month were held,11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Live Oak Cemetery with Mr. Walter Boatright officiating.
