Richard Ricky Mercer

Richard “Ricky” Harold Mercer, age 63, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was a native of Kissimmee, FL moving to Live Oak thirty-three years ago from Palm Bay, FL. Ricky was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served from 1973 to 1976. He enjoyed reading and working on cars and was a Christian by faith.
He was predeceased by his parents, Andy Mercer and Nettie Quattlebaum Mercer, a brother, Johnnie Mercer and a sister, Penny Carender.
He is survived by two sisters, Cathy (Hank) Marcincuk, West Melbourne, FL and Carol (Rob) Marcincuk, New Port Richey, FL; one brother, Danial (Eva) Mercer, Robbinsville, NC; brother-in-law, Joseph Carender, Live Oak, FL; several nieces and nephews, Andrew Mercer, Joshua Mercer, Michelle Mercer, Jennifer Mercer, Sara Mercer, Danny Mercer, Jr., Kimberly Mercer, Michael Marcincuk, Cathy Jean Aguilar, Casey El-Sesy, Tina Marcincuk, April Mercer and Christina Mercer. His extended family, Step-sister, Gloria Scarborough, Timothy Scarborough, Dwalla Harrell and Lawanna Maples.
Funeral services will be held, 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Pinemount Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at the church.
