Rick Moore

Richard C.  Moore “Rick, age 64, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following a courageous battle with cancer.  Rick worked most of his career, farming and in the restaurant business.  He loved barbecuing, cooking in the kitchen and eating.  He also loved fishing with his buddy, Harold, tinkering, weightlifting and spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, J. Carl Moore, Sr. and Doris G. Moore; his oldest brother, Julian Carl Moore, Jr.

He is survived by his brother, Robert E. Moore, Live Oak, FL; his sister, Sherri (Don) Foreman, Lake City, FL; his sister-in-law, Anne Moore; many nieces and nephews and his dog, Coco.

Celebration of life services were held, Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Mr. Tim Roberts officiating.

Visitation was held prior to the services from 11:30 to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
