Robert Dexter Cannon, Sr.

Robert Dexter Cannon., age 81, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2023 in the Lake City Medical Center. He was born on February 12, 1942 to the late Pete and Monie Cannon. He worked as a self-employed truck driver and was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ. Dexter was a member of the MoroccoTemple Shrine Club, a Master Mason and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Clydie Howard Cannon, Live Oak, FL; one son, Bobby (Kimberley) Cannon along with four bonus children, Mike (Susan) Jordan; David (Sharon) Jordan; Susie (Eddie) Hillhouse and the late Janet Bosserman. Two grandchildren, Krissy (Colt) Johns and Morgan Cannon; four great grandchildren, Blayne and Brantley Crews and Raeleigh Cannon; Drayten Lane (Ginny) Cannon
Dexter will be missed by many.
As per his wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
