Robert Haney February 28, 1917 May 13, 2009 Robert Haney, 92, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at his home in Live Oak, FL following a lengthy illness. The Grand Rapids, MI native moved to Live Oak in 1982 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He worked as a maintence man for the Florida Water Management in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before retiring and moving to Live Oak. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Marvin Edward Haney, Hallendale, FL; one daughter, Charlotte Elaine Haney, Mayo, FL; friends, Jimmy and Cheryl Pruitt, Live Oak, FL. Graveside services were held 10:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Pruitt officiating.
