Robert Lee Hart

Robert L. Hart, 84, of Dowling Park, died Oct. 5, 2015, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Previously a resident of Orange Park, FL for thirty years. Robert was born Dec. 21, 1930 in Lee’s Summit, MO, only child of Edward and Thelma Hart. He enlisted in the Navy while attending college, marrying Elizabeth in 1954 as an ensign. He enjoyed a 22 year career as a Navy pilot. In 1999 they retired to Dowling Park, FL on the banks of the Suwannee River. He is survived by daughters, Lisa Molhoek, Kathy Englander, grandsons, Christopher Englander, Steven and Eric Pendleton. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth C. Hart. He will be buried alongside his wife in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
