Robert Burton Krasnow
June 2, 1926 — October 29, 2023
Robert Burton Krasnow, age 97, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at HCA Lake City Hospital Suwannee Campus. He was a native of East Hartford, CT moving to Live Oak fourteen years ago from Hollywood, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. He worked in construction as a carpenter and loved making things out of wood.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Krasnow, Live Oak, FL; six sons, Michael (Beth Nobles) Krasnow, Live Oak, FL; Jeff (Lois) Krasnow, East Haven, CT; Sheldon (Susan) Krasnow, Orange, CT; Wayne (Amber) Krasnow, East Haven, CT, Jay Krasnow, CT, Ron Chandler, Kolona, British Columbia, Canada; two daughter, Cindy (Billy) Laporta, East Haven, CT, Linda Chandler, Peterboro, Ontario, Canada; twenty one grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
