Ronald Paul Bruckler

Ronald Paul Bruckler, age 75, of Mayo, FL passed Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. He was born in Atlantic City, NJ moving to Seminole, FL and then to Mayo, FL in 1987. He worked for the Florida Department of Corrections as a correctional officer. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp having served in the Vietnam War. He retired after twenty-one and a half years of service to his country. He is survived by one son, Mike Bruckler, Mayo, FL; one step-daughter, Cynthia Askren, Washington State; one brother, Ralph Bruckler, North Carolina; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, September 21 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 11:00, AM, Thursday, September 22, 2016 in the Bixler Memorial Gardens East with Mr. Michael Bruckler officiating.
