Rosemarie Howard

Rosemarie Howard, age 81 of McAlpin, FL passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice following a lengthy illness. She was born in Boston, MA moving to Live Oak in 1999 from Broward County, FL. She worked as a supervisor for the Florida Turnpike before retiring and moving to Live Oak. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Joel Howard of McAlpin; five sons, Joel Wayne Howard, Charleston, SC; Michael Howard, West palm Beach, FL; William Howard, Palm Bay, FL; David Howard and Richard Howard both of Jupiter, FL; one daughter, Jennifer Marie Howard, Boca Raton, FL; one brother, Charlie Speranza, St. Petersburg, FL; one sister, Jeannie Blackwood, Coral Springs, FL; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.Visitation was held, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.Graveside services were held, 12:00 PM Eastern Standard time and 11:00 AM Central time, Thursday, November 30, 2016 in the Nettles Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown, FL with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
