Ruby Vera Putnel

Vera Putnel October 5, 1925 May 5, 2009 Vera Putnel, 83, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL following a lengthy illness. She was a native and life long resident of Live Oak, FL. Vera was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed raising and caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband of thirty-eight years, Sidney Putnel, Sr. Survivors include five sons, Richard (Janet) Putnel, Auburndale, FL; William (Janet) Putnel, Mayo, FL; Sidney Putnel, Jr., Lake City, FL; Raymond (Sandra) Putnel, Lake City, FL; Wesley Putnel, Pahokee, FL; one daughter, Linda Money, Ocala, FL; Eighteen grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held 1:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2009 in the Clayland Baptist church with Pastor Bill Lawhon officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
