Ruby Cheney Skinner

Ruby Cheney Skinner, age 77, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2025 at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Hollywood, FL living most of her life in Live Oak. Ruby worked for many years as an insurance agent for Jordan Agency and was a member of the Live Oak Christian Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Virgie Cheney; her husband, Kenton Skinner; brother, James Cheney and two sisters, Millie Parker and Louise Starling.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Skinner, Jr., Zebulon, GA; one daughter, Kimberlee Sellers, Zebulon, GA; three grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be held, 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Ronnie Howard officiating.
