Rudolph Benjamin Carver, Sr.

Rudolph Benjamin Carver, Sr., age 83, of Live Oak, FL passed Saturday, October 1, 2016. Rudy was born in Live Oak living most of his life in Ft. Lauderdale before moving back to his home town in 2010. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Teamster Union, loved to fish and attend festivals. He was also a hometown history buff and member of the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Ben (Marybeth) Carver, Live Oak and Don Carver, North Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Jimmy Carver, Brenham, TX and Elwyn Carver, Live Oak; two grandchildren, Josh (Sarah) Carver and Rachel (Kyle) Monroe; two great grandchildren, Lillian Grace Carver and Braelynn Marie Monroe. Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the Lauderdale Memorial Park in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
