Russell Hunt Mapp

Russell Hunt Mapp, age 80, of Live Oak, FL, passed away, Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home. He was a native of Laurel, MS moving to Live Oak forty years ago from St. Petersburg, FL. He worked for the Suwannee County School System as a psychologist for many years. Russell loved collecting guns, reloading ammunition, fishing and his dogs.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rolfe and Vera Mapp and his wife, Anita Mapp.
He is survived by one son, Austin Mapp, Tallahassee, FL; two daughters, Melissa (Kevin) Mapp-Francisco, Lake City, FL and Dr. Stephanie Mapp, Fleming Island, FL; four grandchildren.
As per his wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
