Russell David Wilson, Jr., age 77, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Thursday morning, January 27, 2022 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness. He was born in New Milford, CT moving to Live Oak, FL in 1995 from Bushnell, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp having served during the Vietnam War as a Private First Class. Russell worked in construction and was a member of the Rocky Sink Baptist Church. He loved antique cars, flea marketing, gardening and building things. His most treasured moments were the time spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Dona Wilson, Live Oak, FL; two sons, John (Shelly) Wilson, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and George (Aymee) Wilson, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Dawn Michele Wilson, Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
As per his wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
