Rusty Greene

Clyde Cecil “Rusty” Greene, age 81, of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Pahokee, FL living most of his life in Live Oak. He worked for many years in sales for the Dupree Department store in downtown Live Oak and later worked as a sales representative in agriculture. Rusty was a member of the Live Oak Church of Christ and in his spare time, he loved mowing his lawn and wood working.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Earl and Trixie Irene Greene and a son, Judge Greene.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Greene, Live Oak, FL; two daughters, “D.D.” (Arthur) Davis and Paige Ann (Jeff) LeRoux, all of Live Oak. Four grandchildren Blair Davis (Emily), Brandi Davis, Dalton LeRoux, and Christian (Mattie) LeRoux and one great grandchild Jaxon Davis.

Funeral services were held, 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Live Oak Church of Christ with Rich Kelley officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation was held 1 hour prior to the services from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church.
