Sandra Wood, age 58, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington, DC moving to Live Oak twenty-four years ago from Ft. Meade, MD. Sandy was a retired sergeant with the Florida Department of Corrections and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and going on cruises.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Wood, Live Oak, FL; two sons, Warren Daniel (Marissa) Wood, II and William Ross Wood, Sr. both of Live Oak; one daughter, Jacinda (Develon) Siler, Live Oak; three brothers, Joe (Loretta) Lucus, Lake City, FL; Randy (Sandy) Lucus, Live Oak, FL; Peter Lucus, Lake City, FL; one sister, Sarah (Ricky) Jolley, Live Oak; four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in the Live Oak Cemetery with her son, Rev. Warren Daniel Wood, II officiating.
Visitation was held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
