Sheila Voyles Reed

Sheila Voyles Reed, age 78, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center / Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida following a brief illness.  She was a born raised in Live Oak. She spent the majority of her adult life in Polk County where she worked as a elementary teacher for many years and was a member of the First Advent Christian Church of Live Oak.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claude and Lucy Maude Voyles and a great-grandson, Josiah Logan Reed.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Reed; one son, James (Tracey) Reed; one daughter, Lisa (Kenny) Kierce; one sister, Edna Bennett; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the Rocky Sink Baptist Church Cemetery at 8422 169th Road, Live Oak, FL, with Rev. James Reed officiating.
