Sherwood W Starling

Sherwood W. Starling, age 86, of Live Oak, FL, passed away, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home following a lengthy illness.  He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak working in the maintenance department for the Occidental Chemical Company for many years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam war.  Sherwood loved woodworking, carpentry and fishing.

He was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Gladys Starling.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Starling; two sons, Billy Starling and John Starling all of Live Oak, FL; two grandchildren, Danielle Taylor Starling and Charles Michael (Brittany) Ward; two great grandchildren. Brayden Ward and Audrey Ann Ward.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the New Harmony Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Banks officiating.
