Sibyl Shearer Wilson

Sibyl Shearer Wilson formally of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System of Pulaski, Tennessee. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky on January 11, 1915 and was 100 years of age. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was of the Church of Christ faith, a teacher and homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Raleigh Wilson, son, Jerry Wilson and his wife Dixie Wilson, parents, Addie Napoleon and Eula Cook Shearer, brothers, Francis Edmund Shearer, James Adie Shearer, and Joseph Milton Shearer, sisters, Pauline Cole and Jean Cook Shearer and a grand-daughter, Teresa Wilson. She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca (John) Alford, Live Oak; one son, James (Pat) Wilson, Pulaski; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren. Visitation was held, Thursday, April 9th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held, 10:00 AM Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Arnold officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
