Stacy Kenton Buchanan, age 73, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Tampa, FL, living most of his life in Mayo before moving to Live Oak about four years ago. He worked as a carpenter and loved music and playing the piano. Stacy also loved the Florida State Seminoles, watching football and baseball and the Food Network on television.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dolan and Colleen Buchanan and a brother, Dolan Buchanan.
He is survived by one son, Ashley Buchanan, Live Oak, FL; three daughters, Summer (Jason) Worth, Jillian (Kyle) Herron and Gabrielle Buchanan all of Live Oak, FL; one brother, Corey Buchanan, Mayo, FL; one sister, Glenda Hart, Mayo, FL; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services will be held, 11:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Community Presbyterian Church with Pastor Travis Buchanan officiating.
