Stephen "Steve" Tyson Winburn
July 8, 1960 — December 15, 2022
Stephen “Steve” Tyson Winburn, age 62, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Lake City Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak where he attended Suwannee County Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1979. Steve served in the Florida National Guard and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved working in his yard, being outdoors and being a cowboy.
He was predeceased by his parents, William "Dub" Jennings Winburn and Carolyn Hicks Winburn.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Sandra Winburn, Live Oak, FL; one son, Tyler Jennings Winburn, Live Oak, FL; three daughters, Stephanie (Tyler) Jordan, Live Oak, FL; Emily (Matt) Calcutt, St. Petersburg, FL and Rebekah (Ramsey) Elliott, Chesapeake, VA; one brother, William Winburn, Tallahassee, FL; two grandchildren, Lyla and Seth Jordan.
Visitation will be held, Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Herrington and Rev. Steve Sweitzer officiating. Interment will follow in the Wayfare Cemtery in Mayo, FL.
