Susan Duce Ward

Susan Duce Ward, age 67, of Lake City, FL, passed away, Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Tallahassee, FL, and was a life-long resident of Lake City, FL. Susan loved watching television, cooking, spending time with her family and was a member of the Hopeful Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her parents, Byron Earl and Madeliene Duce and her sister, Patricia Anderson.

She is survived by two sons, Brody (Abbie) Ward, Lake City, FL; Hank (Rachel) Ward, Green Cove Springs, FL; one brother, Buddy (Nikki) Duce, Lake City, FL and one grandson, Rex Ward.

As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
