Ted Bruce Schmid

Ted Bruce Schmid, age 67, of Live Oak, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fl. He was a native of Clare, Michigan moving to Live Oak in 2006 from Coral Springs, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Vietnam. Ted enjoyed gardening, grafting trees and traveling. He loved his cat, Lily and he referred to as “his little girl.” He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Diana Schmid, Bay City, MI and Joyce Fern Faught, Midland, MI. Several nieces and nephews also survive. As per his wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
