Timothy Cada Wilkinson

Timothy “Tim” Wilkinson, age 82, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Jacksonville, FL living most of his life in Live Oak.  He worked as a Forester for the Hamilton County Forestry Department and was an emergency fire fighter with FEMA and Green Team.  He was a member and deacon of Westwood Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

He was predeceased by his parents, Irving Lewis and Vera Lee Ragan Wilkinson; one brother, Irving Lewis Wilkinson, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty McKnight Wilkinson, Live Oak, FL; one daughter,  Stephanie Wilkinson, Live Oak, FL; one son, Ashley Wilkinson, Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Edgar (Janet) Wilkinson, Jacksonville, FL; Randall (Anita) Wilkinson, Ocala, FL; George (Cathy) Wilkinson, Clifton, TX; two sisters, Nancy Lange, Dowling Park, FL and Judy (Tommy) Collins, Remerton, GA.

Funeral service were held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 28, 2022 in the Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Ben Bush, Rev. Randall Wilkinson & Rev. Michael McKnight officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery with full military rites at the graveside.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
